What length jumper should I use between the analyzer and the maco m107 ? Some people has said 6 foot That's mighty close to the antenna? What about a 12 or 18 foot jumper?

One half an electrical wavelength works best if you cannot get it directly at the feedpoint. If that is still too close then use exact multiples of one half wavelength of cable. I have several electrical half wavelengths of coax made up for this on the various ham bands. Works great.

So I could use a 18 ft piece of coaxial so I can stand on the ground and get away from the 107

NOPE!! An ELECTRICAL halfwavelength is NOT the same as a physical wavelength. Take that 18 feet and multiply it by the velocity factor (Vf) of your coax. IGoogle for the Vf of the cable you are using. For example if you are using Belden 9913 cable which has a Vf of 84% then 18 times .84 is 15.12 feet or 15 feet 1.5 inches.

Okay I will see if I can get 15 foot made up
552fl......here are some charts and a calc. you can use to determine length with.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
