I want to add side band to see how well it works for a calss C. I know it's better to start with a better amp, but it can't hurt.
Anyone ever do it and have the INstructions??

3 PILL FAT BOY.

Its actually quite simple!
It only involves one capacitor a switch and some wire. I believe youll want a 100uf cap with one leg going to the relay and one leg going through you ssb delay switch(spdt should do fine) and then to ground. The leg that goes to the relay should go to the 12v pos for the coil. I said 100uf but you may have to try different values to obtain you desired delay time!

A 3 pill is already a "bad" design. Very prone to "trashy" RF do to the driver stage in the same case. Add that to using it in SSB mode and I can already hear the other SSB operators cutting you a new asshole.
If you want to use an amplifier in SSB mode a 3 pill is not the way to go.
