Advertising videos adversly effect my forum experience

anyway to prevent videos in the advertisements?
They really make the response jagged. Like 4 seconds before I can get the screen to scroll down w/ down arrow.
Quite bad!!

Depending on which browser you are using, you should be able to go into your web browser settings and disable video and or sound from the web pages you view.
