Afterburner 482

I need help,I have no idea how to proceed.

This little guy has stopped xmit,the rx pre amp still works.

For some reason,the main relay,will not engage.

Tubes are fine,they light up.

Any ideas will be highly appreciated

Just a guess, but maybe the keying transistor has gone out?

Ok thanks for the hint.Originally what happened was I fired up a ft 101 while still hooked up to the afterburne.The linear was off but,about 50 w went through it.Next thing I know,smoke came out,of coursr I shut down .

Yupp common mistake made and you will have to replace a few things in the input section of the amplifier
