I’m not sure if MarVac Electronics has been mentioned previously by anyone, but I just purchased a 16 pin DIP (ECG787) from them that worked in my Motorola Mocat restoration. While doing the recap, a dingle berry that I missed toasted the original Motorola part. Other sources I checked had that chip, but their prices were considerably higher. They accepted PayPal with reasonable shipping, so I took a chance. The chip looked restamped and I expected it was a possible fake, but it worked perfectly. In the future when I’m looking for difficult finds or NOS items, this is another bookmark I’ll check.
They have a wide variety of items and their website is user friendly.
