I have a nice RCI 2995 DX. 2006 model. LCD green backlit display. I'm having a memory storage problem with the processor/display board. Swapped out the 220uf 10V storage cap but that didn't change anything. My question is, can the LCD processor/display board be swapped out for a newer type LED processor/display pcb like that is in the HP and CF models? I see the new Ranger RCI 2995 DX HP and CF models either have blue or white LED's Just wanted to know if one of the newer pcb boards would work in my Ranger RCI 2995 DX? Thanks.
 

I have seen several guys swap the displays in their 2950's or 2970's to the newer blue led versions so it is possible. The 2995 is only a 2970 in a big box so the difference shouldn't be much.
