my dad found this thing at a yardsale. it is a Regency

model ATC-E1OH/L1U ???



any ideas how to program freqs into it anybody?

it just reads 1 through 10

If this scanner has a slanted face and a small keypad just below a small readout display and 10 LED channel indicators, It should be very simmilar in programming to the RegencyACT-T-k100...A pain in the butt, but do-able. Key [MANUAL] to stop scan. press [MANUAL] to step to the channel Next key the frequency you want in that channel entering the decimal point propperly. Key [ENTER]. If ERROR is displayed, the frequency is not recognised by the scanner...just hit [MANUAL] again and then the correct freq. If after you hit [Enter], the channel light will blink to indicate the frequency is entered in the channel's memory. Step to the next channel and program it. When done hit [SCAN]. Hope this helps.....

thanks inspector1, ive seen these old scanners around but didnt know how to program it. we will give it a shot. knew there had to be a trick to it somehow<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
