Hi, new to this forum.

Does anyone have numbers regarding how much rf leaks from a tube amp operation?

Any practical solutions on taming some of these would also greatly appreciated.
 

Every one of them is different. Some have metal shields around the tubes for extra shielding, and some do not. Some have the leads RF bypassed to prevent radiating, and some do not. Some use good engineering practices when constructed and some do not. Basically, you roll the dice and see what comes up.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
