hi guys, i have both the long and the "newer" short case 5555n2 radios. I dont use either much and feel i need to let one go.

Any thoughts or if its a no brainer to keep the short version opposed to the bit older and og long case n2? Both maybe have 4-5hrs of use. Not sure if the finals or other things are better between the two. as always, your opinions are appreciated. best, Jeff

Definitely keep the VFO model. I use it more than I thought I would and I would hate not having one now.
I have the long case too. It's a great backup.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
