AR-3500

SmackDown

I recently bought one (Ranger AR-3500) and the only thing that irks me is when I turn it off then turn it back on and it doesn't retain the channel I was on before turning it off. does it have a memory back-up battery ??? Everything else is great !!! It doesn't have the scanning mike so I have a M6b D-104 on it and the audio is great !!!

I USED TO USE SAME RADIO WITH MOBILE D104 M6

i do not recall losing memory when turning it off though

Yes it does have one.....They are alot of $$ to replace...Had Bobs cb do work to mine a year ago, Batttery was like 35.00. There is a mod to change over to a 9volt, but I dont know who has it....

Peace Yota

the squelch knob does 2 thing's

1 is to squelch out the noise
2 is to reset the cpu memory
all the way counter clock wize it will click thats the reset every time you turn off the radio it reset's to 26000 or 29000.

just bring the squelch up after the click and you should be ok

or you can just send it to me

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
