Opened up a recent acquisition to be greeted with what's in the attached photo. In case it's not clear, someone decided to replace a blown trace with a bare wire. Best practices would dictate fixing the trace. Common sense would dictate that you at least use an insulated wire. This "tech" must have thought electrical isolation was for sissies.

The radio has a few other problems (microphonic, a bit deaf) but this little bit of WTF'ery I wanted to document. It explains everything else I'm going to find with this beast.
