Hello everyone, i have an old hygain CLR-2 base antenna and am planning on mounting it in a tree. I have already tried this and my swr went through the roof, and i think this was because the antenna was too close to the tree. Does anyone have any ideas on how to mount this antenna in the tree but not directly to it. The antenna does also have its own ground system so grounding is not a problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
