I always figured that a coax fed 5/8 wave, like a I10K, up at 60 feet would be about as good as it could get.

I was considering something like a super J-pole configured as a ground mounted 5/8 over 1/2 wave.

Now that seems like a tuff one...

What about using a balun and ladder line for say 100 foot runs.

How can I gain and still have omidirection???

C2,
Ground mount three or four 1/4 waves and variably phase them, that's one way.

PS - Or 1/2w or 5/8w.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
