Dude! I have a 428 at home I bought new in 82'.
The orange tipped switch hasn't faded. Neither have the others. The meter lens is still clear. You can see where the rubber washers were when it was mounted. The backside looks brand new.
It's nice looking however it's not a popular radio as I have searched and searched looking fir a service manual and schematic. This radio has R90&R104 in the AMC circuit and no variable resistor to set the modulation with.

It shure does look pretty. My 428 needs overhauled by reason of being 31 yrs old. And only keys 2 watts with all the screws turned up.
