Black Powder caps?

The crazies have been coming out of the woodwork at the cb shop lately, I feel it is a sign of that shtf situation we have been hearing about for years.

here is the cap maker I have, all aluminum.
Thanks, but I bought it 3 times cheaper and with free shipping https://peacemaker.store/products/10-percussion-cap-maker-for-sale

The same as you, I do not plan to use it on an everyday basis and it's good to have it just in case. Why pay more?

In my case, I was willing to pay more for the durability of steel. I didn't buy it to have just in case, but to use on a regular basis. Even when percussion caps have been available during the last several years, they have been way more expensive than I'm willing to pay. In my opinion $60 or $75 for a tool that frees me from that expense and uncertainty is a small price to pay. That's less than the price of 300 caps at the most recent price I have seen.

I just last week purchased 1000 CCI number 11 percussion caps at our local Walmart. I also found out that CCI and the others only make percussion caps only once a year for some reason
