Can anybody help me with this amp it has 4 tubes (1 driving 3). 21js6 are the tubes that are presently in it. Who made it,what is the max wattage, what is the correct amount of drive? Is there a difference between 21js6 and 23js6. :?

Shoemaker,
I'm not sure who made that but it's 5-6 watts max drive (carrier). Output (carrier) should be at least 250-350 watts or better. Both the 21 and 23 JS6's should work, the first number denotes the filament voltage. It wouldn't hurt to measure the exact voltage across a single filament and use the one thats closest to it. You do not want to over voltage the filaments, it will dramatically reduce the life span. If the originals were 23's then you should use that, if those are not available go to the 21's and look to add some resistance to correct the difference.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
