I Have an old galaxy dx959 that has a bipolar finals, it is actually pretty stable, but I leave it turned on for an hour before I try and talk on it. The clarifier is still unmodified on it. I’m hesitant to unlock the clarifier on it because I feel like it will turn it into a drift monster. I’ve never owned an export galaxy. All I’ve ever owned are the 949/959 radios, two purchased brand new, and the one I have now was used. But all three were very far off frequency when I got them.

So I know several forum members have the 2950 CD, I'm really considering one for adding to the station. I've kind of been wanting to see how they do before making the buy.

Do they perform well on ssb?

Thank you sir, I ask aslo because someone here but can't remember who was having issues with the display. Was hoping it wasn't a common bug with those.
