Made contact w/Peter on 385 the QSY to 395 for QSO. Made it to him on my Homemade base antenna and the bare footed 146GTL.
He was running a 142GTL "A" w/an old school Gamma matched Vertical and using a Tuner 5 Desk Mic.
He liked my JC Penny stock mic better than my Turner +3 handheld mic. Said the +3 had a deeper sound but liked the stocker cause it was more inteligable/easier for him to understand I guess.
Hopefully he find this videogate and hears how his station sounds. AWESOME that is. Cant beat old school....
