Since I had my Galaxy DX2517 re-crystalled and aligned for full 10 meter coverage, I tend to leave it on 28.400 USB with the RF Gain turned down quite a bit. If anything noteworthy comes around, I'll hear it without having to hear a bunch of white noise. FWIW, I had the 2SC2999 mod done to this thing. So anyway, all of a sudden, PY2LOW in Sao Paulo, Brazil showed up. 59/59 5195 miles, roughly. Sweeeeeet!

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
