Got the best contact of the year on tuesday at about 4:30 PM EST when I heard CQ CQ 101 Brazil standing by and called back and to my supprise he answerd me back 
. we had a good 10-15 min QSO and exchanged email so we can sent pics of radios and ourselves. I was talking off my 696FD1 freqency 27.485 with 100watts and maco 5/8 at 7ft to feed point mounted on my wash pole

He was running 100watts on a three element beam pointed at USA.
