browning mark 4 info..

i need any documents anyone can pass on to me about this mark 4....there are a couple of things i don't know....such as

(Fwd)..(ref)...(ma) on the meter knob...what do they mean and the spot button....i got this radio 2nd hand with no documents

any thing would help
