Last night was listening to Henry talking about the repeater about power. Someone said put battery/solar. You don't know how the repeater stand inline with ac powerline with the other building.
From what was said I feel the building had a power brownout/ dc-noise power. (battery drain/parts blown up)

Make it short.
Henry said you using ups and the best thing is to cut power when it dips.

Need one power monitor-2 relays with bases- one dto ider and adj rc timer circuit.
The power monitor will kill the power to ups when power get at 108v.
The relay one will do three thing.
1. Cut power to feed main power.
2. Cut power to rely two rc timer that cut the output of ups battery. By have a 5 minutes timer it give time for full power or after 5 minutes the relay drop killing the repeater. (stop battery drain)
3. The cw ider (power on battery side) is place on relay one contacts when relay drops. The cw ider will cw bat in back ground. Bat is not a callsign and people will pick it up.

All above can be setup and tested before taken up. Make it so it can be disconnect if problem. (It a Overlay)

When you have to walk a building stairs when nothing working, you would understand where I am coming from.

Also during a EQ that people will cross band the radio if needed if repeater is off. So no need to have a damage repeater when brownout happen.
