Welcome, I have an old Connex 3300hp zx. it is a good radio and it should serve you well. Mine has been sitting in the closet for quite a few years. I believe it has a bad final as it only keys to about 6 watts. Anyway, I would have got it fixed but I really don't want to put money into a radio that doesn't have sideband. Maybe someday I will get it checked out. I had too many fingers in that radio with toys to pester my fellow truckers. Copycat recorder, donkey fart, ricochet key up toy, hahaha. The cb world is a better place without that radio in it. BUT I may have to revive it. I am a recovering crackerhead after all. Might be time for a relapse.

Yeah that fine turd is a jerk for sure and I would not spend a penny with him.

I remember watching the video from Radio Garage. Seems like a good guy.
