It's extremely steady on two Ram mounts leftover from my motorcycle days. It is against the console, but not much.

I picked up the Sirio from the ebay sellers warehouse in Fremont Ca, seems to be working well so far. Most of my radio use is with drivers within 1/4 mile, but I do try to make distant contacts to/from the jobs.

Just put the rci in today, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Taking a Siemens rail car Sac to Seattle next week, so I'll be playing radio while we lay over. That thing swung to 260 on the techs bench, I assume 14-15v+, so I don't expect the same on my system.

Still have to add a bunch more straps, I have way too many projects.......
