I have a d104 i picked up, it appers to be in excellent shape, inspected wiring and put new battery in, worked great on a galaxy dx949 on am. Tried it on my rci 2950dx and can not get good results with it on ssb. I have tried all the adjustments with the gain on radio and mic and if u get it right wherenits not squealing in the amp, it doesnt seem to have the audio to kick the transisters in the amp on. They come in initially then fade off or click off as im talking. If i use the stock mic from my galaxy 949 i get great reports (seems to sound better than stock rci mike. I really want to use the d104 but just cant get it to work. Any thoughts?

Where are yor gain settings on mic and radio? Seems like both about 1/4 open is ideal, i have no way to check the sound. On my galaxy 949 with talk back on sounds great, but on my modulation meter it doesnt swing up as much as a stock mike

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
