I have Cherokee CM-10 that I only got to use once and the volume control started to cut out.
I use to be able to wiggle it and it would work but no more. I need to fine a new POT to replace it with.

anyone know where I can get one?

Did you try spraying some contact cleaner into the volume pot first? That might do it. Other than that, I'm not sure where you'll find the POT by looking for that radio. You'll probably need to remove the POT and find one like it. It's probably a common part. If you have a multimeter, you should be able to measure its minimum and max resistance and find one just like it fairly easy.

Hope that helps.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
