Just to let some of you know....
Through some various testing I've found that the TM3k reads very close to the Bird 43 on both RMS and peak readings. If your reflection or swr is a little high, the TM will show some exaggerated peaks, but all in all it is an excellent meter for the price......and no slugs to buy.
For those interested in accuracy and a high performance full featured meter, the TM is money well spent.
* Note..... the modulation portion of the meter is a little flakey. Sometimes it works, sometimes it comes out of the box not working. But hey, I never use that anyway.
