cobra 142 extra channels ?????

how hard is it to get upper and lowers in a 142? do they make a kit or something that i could do myself?

Look into the expo 100 expander kits but do it fast they are no longer in production so whatever is left on the shelve in the market is all there is gonna be left. Just call your local or favorite CB shop and tell them what you have and they will get you the right expo model for that particular radio.

if you want to do it without a expo kit look up radios with a MB8719 PLL chip. it was the most common among older radios and its real easy to channel.
