Cobra 142GTL Uniden Washington same radio?

I have a Uniden Washington that I use and I have a mod book that list them as the same board.

443 does it squeal ? When I blew my PLL it would power up but do nothing but squeal. It didn't cost much to have the new PLL in. You also might change mics as a bad wire could stop the Tx and Rx. Hope this might help !

I have a 142GTL here that I want to fix and use for my base. It needs some work, I haven't tried it yet, but the guy said it would power up, but wouldn't talk or recieve. It uses the MB8719 (cool).



I was looking for info and the number on the mainboard is PC-385AG. I did a search and saw that the Uniden Washington uses PC-385AG also. Is this true? Is the radio the same on the inside?



If so should be easier to get info for troubleshooting it.

443 send me an email and I will send you a page of schematics I scanned. There are 3 total but I want to make sure you can view them ok. I viewed this one on an editer and used the magnifier and it's real clear.
