Made in China, just like almost everything else anymore. This version does not have the MB3756 chip. Just a three leg regulator and some other parts to switch between RX and TX.
In case it's not obvious from the pics the corrosive glue has been removed. There is some clear glue in there. Not sure if it's factory or not but it resembles hot glue more than Sonybond.
Slight wrinkle in the bezel faceplate over the meter, mic connector, and channel selector. The meter is the worst.
Not sure what the dot is for. Maybe to keep it from rattling in a prior installation?
Yes, I covered the serial number on purpose.
Comes with mic and bracket. Also, custom scratches as seen in the pictures for no additional charge.
It does RX and TX, or at least it did an hour ago. No magic smoke was observed leaving the radio at any point. Standard "as is, all sales final, no returns or refunds, yes I'm an asshole" terms.
Due to sticker shock on shipping for the last thing I sold here, $100.00 USD and I'll just pay USPS out of that. Not free shipping, but built in to the price.
