Cobra 148f GTL Clarifier Modification

Hi,
Im looking for a mod to unlock clarifier that uses the stock 20k pot and has a minimal slide less than half channel each way, is there one out there? I know the Lesscom board only slides a couple each way. I appreciate any tips if there out there.

I know you can mod the slide to reduce the slide after it's converted, but I don't know what is needed for that. I always wanted the full channel so I could hit the "A" channels when I did the mod.

PLL +8v - anywhere along that trace from R137 to the jumper (JP53 ?? can't read) that connects to the trace under the PLL should be good for +8v constant.
