Ok here goes i got a cobra 29 ltd it is a 1997 i want to tun it up a bit right now it dead keys 4 watts with no swing i was toln to turn vr -4 up for mod but where is it at then cut d 11 but i am having a hard time finding it some one told me is in by vr4 and by mike jack ?? ok on to tx i turned up the slug by the final did not take it out and my radio has 4 turns on that coil
i tweeked the copper coil to the right of final as some have dun not shur i like doing this but it did giv some mor watts ok here is where i am radio has about 75% modulation and is keying 7 watts swinging to 15 to 18 watts did i do ok or can i git mor out if i find vr 4 and cut d 11
please help you guys helped me tun a lafayette 525 and it dos real nice now hope i can make this radio screem to
