well I was swapping an IRF520 into my friends newer 29 LTD classic, was doing the final tune and out of no where it just stopped putting power down on the meter
now I have done several of these and never had a single issue... and I had a single issue, but I guess it had to happen sooner or later right
the PA still works (but squeals)
no dead key no swing
however other radios on the same channel in the same room show a pegged needle if I key it down, BUT they do not hear me talk
final and driver tested good, but I replaced them and returned the radio to stock... still no joy
it happened when I piping a tone into it for final tune up
I have a theory rattling around in my brain but I am not sure...
I just really need to get it figured out SOON as my friend needs the radio for his trip he is taking on dec 5th
