Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are safe as these storms blow through!!

I have a Cobra 29LTD Classic, 4-pin side mic, PC-900 board) in for alignment and everything works except the meter shows nothing on RX. The RX did align fine (-12db sinad @ -113db). The RF Gain knob and alignment adjustment (VR1) work. The RX meter adjustment has no effect. The meter does work on TX. Any thoughts on this one?

A little update here. I had a few minutes today at the bench. Also, see attached for a better schematic that shows this circuit and a pic of the board.

When in TX mode I get 65mA at the meter (about 1/2 way). Based on the schematic, should I get a similar reading at D5 or at D316? I will have a few minutes tomorrow night to look at it again.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
