Is it possible to remove this transistor? I'm rebuilding the input circuit, and I'm having great luck. Only problem is I think my Mic amp is causing tr17 to clip and causing feedback. I do believe it's mostly caused by the talk back but I do believe this it's happening.
If I remove this transistor and plug in my 2 transistor improved version is there anything else that connects to the emitter of thks? The schematic looks like the 8v line connects but I don't think it would be a problem. I'm just looking for some validation.
Also how much drive can this audio chip handle? It's a cobra 29lxle ta777 something.. thanks in advance!
