Find a good tech. If your in the auto business as I am (parts business) then you know why DIY'ers are called Destroy It Yourself'ers.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

I have a 29 ltd classic my brother in law gave to me the other day and he thinks the finals are burned out. He is a truck driver and running dual ant. and he discovered he was talking on the radio with one ant. broken off. High swr! The radio will receive but wont transmit. What it does receive sounds like it is out of frequency. I am no electronics expert. I leave that up to the pros but where is the final located and what does it look like? This is a Dynascan made unit. Any ideas would be great since I don't know what the H--- I'm doing!!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
