Couple of interesting tower vids


For the first five minutes, the crew needs safety training.
The rigger is freeclimbing the tower, no fall arrest in use.
I don't see the ground crew wearing hard hats.

Now I see guys hanging off the ball! ARGH. I doubt VERY much that what they have is man-rated. During their descent you will notice they are attached to the side positioning D-rings. Notice how they need to make a constant effort to remain upright. If their grip on the cable should slip they would be dangling upside down quite quickly. The guy on bottom is hanging from hoisting straps. Idiots.

I'd have a problem working with these guys. Get off my tower, get off my site until you learn to work safely.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
