The 2014 results are finally published. My results as a 2nd year rookie, 183,933 points. I worked as a Single Op, Low Power, with the rookie overlay. Results were not quite double last year but enough to win the 5 call area stateside with the rookie overlay. Placed 6 in the 5 call area without the rookie overlay. I'm very happy even without reaching my pre-contest goal of doubling last years score. I could not find a way to cut and paste the certificate here !! would have shared it.
Plan coming up in October 2015 is to double the score again plus so I have my work cutout. I'm not sure how many guys on here contest but its a great way to add to worked country and zone counts. Also it brings out the Big Guns from many exotic locations rarely heard!! If a guy can stand the pileups these guys want to work you also. I was able to a couple new countries.
