Had this radio about two weeks now. I must say it is a very nice radio excellent receive and good audio . Glad I got it !! I’m sure the 7900 which I have on the way will be just as nice.. Kudos to Scott’s radios. He does not overtune..

They are overall one of the best radios I have ever used. I dont love the encoder type of channel selection, but I get it. I added the second missing AM filter to mine and it cut down bleedover nicely. Overall I cannot ask for anything more to be honest. As long as these hold up (I bought 3) then I do not see myself buying any more new radios.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
