I recently bought a RETEVIS TR635 Digital AM/FM/SW radio for use in my shop. I chose this radio because I had purchased a TR618 AM/FM/SW Analog dial radio for my son-in-law and it was great. The 635 was a total disappointment, and I posted a review on Amazon saying so. I tried to return it, but got hassled by all of the DHL stores that I visited in the Med (7 total) that would not accept a prepaid shipping invoice. So I said hell with it and gave up.
A week or so later, RETEVIS customer service contacted me by email asking for specific complaints on the 635. I explained that I had bought 618, and it was great. So I expected as much for the 635. I detailed my complaints, and that was that.
Today, to my surprise, I received another TR618 from RETEVIS, along with a letter apologizing for the trouble with the 635. Customer service stated that they would forward my complaints to the factory for review.
This is customer service above and beyond. I am a RETEVIS customer forever !!
