D&A Raider


6kv6's but you could use 6lq6's if you ran a piece of buss wire from pin 1 up to the cap.. I did this before with one I had and increaced the output... the raider has a large enough transformer to carry the extra load... worked like a champ...
 
The tubes that it came with are 6JG6 or 6JT6. The 6KV6 will work and have more output but they cost a lot more. The 6AQ5 is for the keying circuit and is not a driver tube.

what wattage should i xpect out of this unit? currently i am dk 1 watt swinging 20 into it and dk 80 swinging 250 out is this indicitive of good cond. tubes or???

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
