I need a meter that will read 1000-1500 watts and more so give me a good reflect reading. Are the daiwa about the same as an MFJ comparable model? I know a bird would be best but every time I have enough mad money to afford one I always buy another new radio or amp! Whats reccomended for a $100-$150?.

If you like the Diawa meters, the CN-801 might be the one for you. It will handle 2KW. I have one and it's a decent meter. It is not real sensitive for peak reading, but if you give it a tone or a whistle, it will read fairly close to the Bird 43P. The SWR readings on it are right on, however. For around a hundred bucks, I like it pretty well.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
