I am going to be getting a vintage, Astatic d104 10-da/t-ug8 base mic, the head looks like something you would see from the 50's and or the 60's.

does anyone use these mics? also if so how well do you like them?

thanks,Dan

Not sure of the one you have, but i think they are rather common.
Likely to be the one on the right. Yes?

With the 10 DA head, it would be the one in the middle and YES people still use them. The 10 DA head is superior for SSB use.

The D-104 head -AKA 'lollipop' mic is also very popular, and far more common.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
