Dosy FC50-S SSB Frequency Counter Video Overview

Thanks....

A CB friend has been obsessing over this.

BTW, even though I am critical of that darned Stryker 955HP, I thought it was one of your better reviews yet. I always anticipate your reviews and visit your site often.

Thanks Duster, I appreciate that.

When I do the videos though keep in mind I call them "overviews", because I'm merely showing everything the radio can do in terms of functions, etc.

I like to reserve my "reviews" for the written articles on my website so I can really take the time to sit down and discuss my thoughts on the radio.

The Stryker stacks up well against the Magnum S980 but I don't think we should be comparing it to the 2950DX or Magnum 257HP directly because there are some specific aspects of operation on those radios that are lacking on the 955HP.

Anyway - the little Dosy FC50-S is a neat little counter, I think they could probably just get rid of the regular one now that they have come out with this model. Having to hold of the speaker to the microphone is a little annoying but it only takes 2-3 seconds and it actually works so I was impressed.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
