I have a dx99v that when I push down lightly on top cover the radio shuts off no power then let up comes right back on and recieving? Works great but if I push down lightly on top cover it loses power? Any ideas? Thanks.
 

look for gounds around the board that may be attached to the chassie,and or what Funky said. It doesn't sound serious.

Checked out the radio had a cold solder joint at the voltage regulator hit with iron working 100% now. Thanks Forum.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
