any one know the wiring code for this mic? someone gave it to me . would like to try it on my madison. it's a ca-72 compression mike. tnx. 73 qrt qsb okay how about the pin out for the 5 pin madison, you would think that i would at least know that.

Hello darkrfoverload, Look in the cb radio section,page2,4th article down. "seek help with turner jm+2" this will work on all radios and mic.s (at least it has worked for me<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> ) Hope this helps.

thanks for the reply, i found out from the guy that gave it to me that the wires were a little different than normal red audio? well i put my +3b back on and i'm happy now. 73

The wiring for the Ca-72 is 1 Audio=Red 2 Ground=Sheild 3Receive=Blue 4Common=Black 5Transmit=White.The Ca-72 is a compression desk mike for SSB cbs. If you change C-1 and C-2 to .01 ufd it will make the sound sharp instead of bassy and if you jump r-11 it will increase the output level.



Dont know if anyone cares anymore just thought I would put it out there for reference purposes.
