elkin 12 and 8 tube amp.(need help quick)

Don't know about Danny. But ScewDriver(Avenger Amps) in Statesville, NC worked for and built Elkin amps back in the day. He is the only tech I know around these parts here in Western NC that can fix Elkins.

Ray passed the other week, and I don't know if Eddie, his on, is going to keep the shop in Elkin open or not for repairs.

Screwdriver is mediocre at best. He knows the Elkin amp, but some of the things I’ve seen from there were definitely not quality.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
