I have a dumb newbie question. What's the difference between a CB for U.S. sale, and an export radio?? Before signing up for this forum, I had never heard of "Export Radios". Can anyone enlighten me?

Best thing to do is check out any c.b. radio site that sells radio's. Some of the brands are Galaxy, Connex, Magnum, General, and Superstar to name afew.
These radio's have features that a legal c.b. set does not have such as more power, echo, many different bands of channels, roger beep, FM, and they must be modified to work on the c.b. channels.

@ heartbreaker3473:Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
