Defining the Source - Transmitter Interference



Transmitter interference is normally caused by the actual design of the (interfered-with) equipment itself. Many manufacturers do not protect internal wiring with adequate shielding or sufficient filtering, so the interfered-with equipment is susceptible to receiving unwanted signals - interference.

It would also be bad if it happened while the inspection of your station was going on.

is the rule 4 watt carrier max or 4 watt PEP? If my radio is a 4 watt DK, swinging 20 watts is that legal? I have to plan for an inspection of my station by FCC. Merlin



By the way those readings are off of a Dosy 3001.
