Where do you guys buy your final transistors from? I need one for a Cobra 29 LTD. I can no longer read the numbers on it. I don't want to do the mosfet. Any specific part numbers you guys recommend and a place to buy them?

The 2SC2312 or 2SC1969, both from HG work great for repair replacements or "hotrod" builds.
The MOSFET conversion is actually easier than they make it out to be.
